A great cause finds a great deal

Groupon has always been a source for great deals, but Groupon’s Grassroots, the philanthropic arm of Groupon also supports great causes. Supporting Sasha Bruce Youthwork’s youth gogo band is Groupon’s featured cause this week!

The Forgiving All My Enemies (FAME) gogo band was founded by Sasha Bruce Youthwork to help youth pursue their interests in music. The band meets three times a week and provides an opportunity for band members to work as a team, find their creative voice, and learn about the music industry. The band is not just a creative outlet, as FAME members also benefit from receiving mentoring services from Sasha Bruce Youthwork. As one band member puts it “Sasha Bruce makes sure we are focused not only on music, but life.”

We are proud of FAME and the great impact they bring to its members and community. With this Groupon, FAME can receive the equipment needed to get to the next level. The band could really benefit from new instruments, amplifiers, promotional materials and SAT/GED/ACT study books.
