Sunday, October 7th marks this year’s National Walk to Save Homeless Youth. The Walk is a fundraising and awareness campaign that takes place annually in cities nationwide!
Sasha Bruce Youthwork (SBY) is a proud partner in this campaign and we are raising awareness about youth homelessness on the 7th with a virtual event. Stay tuned for client stories, testimonials, pictures, quotes and news articles to be displayed on the Sasha Bruce Youthwork Facebook page and Twitter throughout the afternoon on the 7th!
You can support this initiative by sponsoring a young person at $20 or $30 at this website and clicking “Join This Team.” Your donation will go towards SBY’s positive after school programs; including art therapy, GoGo musical instruction, Life Skills, parenting groups, tutoring, basketball club, dance, and barber shop training.
The National Walk to Save Homeless Youth was started by an organization called Photo Charity, that advocates, educates, and raises funding for homeless youth in the San Diego area. Click each city below to learn what they are doing to raise awareness on October 7th.
