Shore recognized by White House

SBY is excited to announce that Deborah Shore, Executive Director and Founder, will be one of thirteen White House Champion of Change award recipients. This award relates to the Obama administration’s federal plan for ending homelessness in the U.S.

While this prestigious award recognizes the tremendous work that Shore has overseen and validates our ground-up, competency-based approach, it’s also a recognition of the further work that needs to be done. Shore will participate in a discussion on July 12th with the other Champions of Change leaders, as well as with senior White House and federal agency staff, to further communicate where the greatest needs remain and what the next steps may look like.
