Eliminating homelessness among youth is a moral imperative, and local communities must roll-up their sleeves to get the job done. But the federal government must play a significant role, too. To this end, Chapin Hall has released a comprehensive set of federal policy recommendations. Its report, Research to Impact: Federal Actions to Prevent & End Youth Homelessness offers an evidence-informed roadmap to help guide the work of the federal government, in partnership with other stakeholders, to prevent and end youth homelessness. The authors argue for a public health approach, which will emphasize prevention and elevate the importance of working across multiple systems.
